MAJOR problem with Hooker LT...please help

I just installed the Hooker Super Comps. They look great, fit well. However when I put the spark plugs in my World Products Sportsman II heads (straight plug), the tip of the spark plugs are about 1/8" from the header tube.

Has anyone had this problem and how did you get around it?

Can I use lawn mower plugs?

Thanks in advance

Steve

I think Accel makes a shorty race plug. I had a similar problem with my Heddman long tubes, but I had just enough clearance to get the boot on without touching the tube.

I should have mentioned this....that WAS with the Accel Shorty plugs (#276s).

Some cylinders are fine, some aren't. Especially on drivers side, #1 and #7.

Bang, bang, bang, with the hammer. Have the 12 pack ready for comforting afterwards. Crying is optional.

Dart/World heads can be a real pain in the butt sometimes. Call Sanderson headers and see what they have available. I had to get a pair of their block huggers for one of my cars when I switched to Iron Eagles.
