Which is cheaper?

Is it cheaper to buy headers coated or to buy them uncoated and have it done after you get them. I know that the headers i want are $605 coated and $450 uncoated. So is having them coated under $155?

It's gonna depend on who's doing the coating for you. Unless the manufacturer specifically states their coating is Jet-Hot or some other commercial coating, then you should assume it's their in-house ceramic coating which may or may not be as good.

Jet-Hot also sells many popular brands of headers which they will coat and ship to you. You should get a quote and see if they sell the headers that you're looking at and what they cost from them.

I've been doing a lot of research and talking to Jet Hot. They only sell Hooker headers and they only apply to single cat cars.

Really...? That's not what they told me, but then again, we didn't go down that line of questioning too far since I had already ordered SLPs through the GP at Z-Racing.

Jet-hot quoted me a set of dynomax pretty cheap. I emailed them and they emailed me back. This was a month or so ago and I think they had just started selling them.
