I just recently installed my Headmans shorties (w/o AIR), with their Y-pipe. They fit well. As stated above, you'll have to do some very minor improvising on the A/C and alt. mounting brackets. Also, if you go with the no-AIR hedder, you'll have to have a shop weld an O2 sensor bung into the driver's side header (or just a nut that your O2 sensor can screw into). Someone did mine for $7.
A word to the wise: get that driver's side header in place and mark exactly where the O2 sensor bung will have to stick out (so it doesn't hit the crossmember), before you have the cut/weld done.
Good luck! The install is a bit long and annoying, but you probably already knew that.

Not that the world revolves around it, but it's "Hedman"; and for their products, "hedders".

That's what I wondered.
You have my permission to change your sig accordingly (as if you needed it
).
There have been debates and darts thrown on the Carb board as to whether Holley or Edelbrock did make such a beast, that's why I asked. The conclusion generally has been that those making such claims weren't reading their Summit catalog carefully enough.

(I won't call it a 650 cfm because that would mean I really screwed up the rebuild.)

86z, 1st, please accept apologies now being offered, it was getting late. 2nd, read entirety of posts on this non-topic issue. In context, my original question/comment was appropriate, while your observation about rebuilds was not germane.
Buddy, wasn't trying to flame, just trying to understand, and if possible, inform. I spend a lot of time on the carb board, and the existance of a Holley CC q-jet has been brought up several times. Wasn't trying to be a Richard Cranium.
