loudmouth install kit DOES work on our cars

I just finsihed installing a SLP loudmouth kit on my 91z and I used the SLP LM install kit to hang the pipes and it fit perfect. The guy at SLP told me it wouldnt work since it wasnt designed for my year car and also said the LM would fit either, what a qauck. Well, it does fit and the installkit make the pipes hang just right. Just a heads up for future LM buyers. get the install kit. it works I will try and get pics this weekend

Leave it to SLP to tell a customer that there product doesn't work when it actually does!

...I've been thinking about buying the LM too. Did you install it yourself? How does it sound?

....I started my car with only the Y pipe and I LOVE the way it sounds, but I admit it's too loud. So I'm getting old, shoot me. Anyhow, from what I hear, the LM is pretty much open exhaust with the volume turned down a little!

Would you agree?

the kit I used just had the 2 hangers in it for the tailpipes. Cost about $25. I had to custom make a few pipes to get it to work with my dual cat setup though
