I need a quieter exhaust! Any suggestions?

I'm tire of my LOUD exhaust. I've got headers, no cat, 3" flowbee american thunder system. I'd like to kee the tips off the muffler but does anyone know of a quieter muffler that has 3" in and dual 3" outs?

I'm looking for a more throaty sound. I'm not sure if flowmaster makes another single in/dual out in 3" other than the 80 series I already have?

Anybody know?

Thanks,
Troy

Look into the Hooker Aerochamber. I've got the Fbody Crossflow style on my Z24.. it's deffenetly quieter than the 80 series i used to have and they flow better

Dynomax Ultra Flow SS mufflers are (as far as I know) the best flowing mufflers on the market. They flow in the area of 1000cfm. About 200cfm better than it's closest competitor which (Borla). They're stainless steel and like all Dynamax mufflers, they virtually eliminate the hollow, metalic and raspy sound usually associated with systems like like Flowmaster.

They're not loud. They're "deep" sounding. Probably amonst the best sounding mufflers available anywhere in my opinion.

Take a look at Dynomax's website.

Honestly, I could care less about "flow". Power is not my concern, here. I'm simply looking for another 3rd gen type muffler with a 3" in and dual 3" outs....to take place of the flowbee...

you're really better off going with a 3" in/dual 2.5" out then, they're quieter...

There are a few sound clips of Aerochambers on this site... if i had one behind a V8 i'd make a clip for ya but i'm still using dual flow 40's.

I'd have to also recommend the hooker aero chamber. I just replaced the loudmouth that was on my 350 TPI car with it and it sounds great, nice and quiet in the car and sounds deep and mean when you get on it.

Another vote for the Hooker muffler. I have it on my car and it sounds great when you step on it, but not too loud at all while cruising or idling.
