Spark plugs are a challenge on these cars. with headers it will just take a little more time. be sure to take your time and get everything snug and all your wires clipped on. i am not going to say that it is hard but i personally do not find it to be very easy either.

my car used to have the lg4 motor and even with the stock setup it was a Bi#ch to change the plugs. not i have no emmissions and headers and its easyer but still a small project. especially if you still have A/C

It's a B, it's easier to do from under the car. I had to use a box wrench to turn socket on a few, and there is one that I couldn't get to so I just left it

It depends what headers you have. I had dynomax headers and I just took them off

I now have headman headers and it takes me 30 minutes....But then again I have angle plugs, I love my AFR'S!!!!

If you do get headers, run the wires like this.

All depends on the car my friend. With full length hedman's on my brother's monte carlo, the #8 plug has to be taken out with a shorty open end box wrench NOTHING else fits. Dunno how it will fair with your camaro. I also am asking the same question, for I have a set of hooker shorties I am waiting to put on my IROC.

Mine are easier to do with headers on. Between a normal 5/8" wrench, a 3/4" wrench, and a spark plug socket and a ratchet, i'm done. 10 minute job, and most of that is reefing on the damn boots!
hedman 68470 shorties.

The napa flex wrench works pretty good with a stub extender and socket.

Same here with summit shorties.

I just loosen them a few turns and get them out the rest of the way by hand. They always come out no problem.

Just get a box wrench, and you can get a socket too, but it's only useful on maybe 2 plugs, lol.

Not sure why theres such a headache with plug replacement

Mine took bout 5 mins to install and route the wires

Only one that was a slight problem was the #8 and I simply took the plug socket off the ratchet and used an open end on it

Still the stock 305 strait plug heads

I still have all my AC components and such, only thing Im lacking is the AIR system
