Basically When I Accelarate i hear a loud WRRRRR!!! noise from the rear of the car but when i let go of the acc pedal and just idle then it goes away what would i do to get rid of that noise. A mechanic friend of mine told me i need a new exhast.

could be your rear end whining. have you checked your gear oil? also check your universal joints. they may need to be greased or replaced.

 

is your pipes rusted??? old???

 

im going to go with it's old and needs to be lubricated but im a noob at that stuff
my friend said that there is something blocking the exhast and that is why it's makign that noise

just lube up all the joints and gears down there and switch out the ones that look like crap? how much would that be to do myself?
