Just finished my dual exhaust
Just finished making my dual exhaust. Sounds really good too. Summit shorty headers into an x-pipe into 2 Flow-Pro glass packs
Re: Just finished my dual exhaust
looks good, i like it.
I quess the section thats under the crossmember is the lowest spot, right?
i went with a single 3 inch exhaust out of 2 mm stainless.
Making the y-pype was a pita, and i went over the axle.

Re: Just finished my dual exhaust
Ya I wanted true duals so I made that up over the weekend. I was going to put Cherry Bombs but I couldn't find 2 in the size I wanted. The reason I ran them both on the passenger side is I really didn't like running the exhaust so close to the fuel and brake lines on the drivers side. And yes the transmission brace is the lowest spot, I had to cut out a couple notches in the trans brace so I could get the exhaust up about another 1/2 inch or so.

It's actually a lot quieter than I thought. It's just a nice low rumble.

Re: Just finished my dual exhaust
I didnt get oval pipe because it would have been a lot harder to make. And the summit headers needed a little cleaning up on the bolt holes and ports. I actually cut the flanges so the bolts would line up easier. If the hedmans or anything else arent that much more I might try those instead
