hey guys, im buying a set of cutouts for my 305 91 z, and i dont know what size to get on my stock exhaust pipe. i was pretty positive it was 2 1/4 but anyone think different?

might want to get a 3" and some reducers in case you want to up the exh. size in the future
i thought about that too but ill eventually get headers and redo everything good point tho

If you get headers, buy the 3" model now. W/ headers you want a good 3" single pipe to the rear anyway. Even on a 5.0
im just getting the cutouts for now and didnt know wat the stock pipe size was and which size cutout to get but thanks for the future info

What is the purpose of a cutout?
better exhaust flow before the cat and muffler, soem torque, mainly loudness
i measured my pipe though and it was 2 and a quarter, so im just gonna get two and a quarter cutout
