while I was at the exhaust shop there was another thirdgen there getting an exhaust. it was a 2.8 car swapped with some sort of small block. 305, 327,350 could have even been a 400 but anyways . while it was up on the lift I was peaking around at it and saw that on the drivers side it had a long tube header and on the passenger side it had a shorty header. the owner was leaving it that way and building a full dual 3 inch exhaust for it. would it have andy performance issues having a short and long tube headers. wouldn't it unbalance the exhaust to some degree. because of long tubes giving more tq on the bottom end than shorties. never seen it done before. was just wondering if there would be any ill effects of it.

Sounds a little "Frankenstein-y" to me. Can see any advantage. Possible downside on unequal velocity/amount/etc.

just like factory not really any extra weight a big block weighs about 150 more than a small block then add the a/c and heat and wiper motor and all emissions stuff I am accually lighter now than with the small block. that is the factory iroc springs in front. here is the stance.
