I'm not sure if it has a part number on it. It's the one that comes with the 4" Mufflex kit. Single exit on the left, 4" in and out. I can't say that I really recommend it. I had to weld it on to keep it from blowing itself off at anything over 3000 RPM, which to me says there's substantial backpressure. Now it tries to come apart at the bend that goes over the axle from time to time.

OK, well if your interested in the Flowmaster, it came with the 4" mufflex kit, same thing, one in/out, I'd take $100 plus the ride.
I've always wanted to do this mod but kept it in reserve as the internet opinion was that the TPI panel style filters didn't provide enough capacity for serious HP. It wasn't until Chad did some real world testing that I'm back on board. And considering what he does for a living, I'm inclined to accept his results.

It is well done for sure. I would like to explore this further for my LS swap. Not sure I am in love with the traditional 4" intake pipe.
I've seen plenty of the big pipes with the K&N cone stuffed on the end but for the most part they're picking up air from under the hood no matter where you place them. The TPI air filter case is the real deal for a CAI. And the possibility of adding a ram air package just makes it better.

Agreed. My plan now is to run a filter in front of the tire (go right through the floor where the EVAP used to be). The TPI style has me intrigued.
If it hadn't been for Chad's report on the filters, it's not something I would have pursued. I bought a cowl hood specifically to get cold air to the carb via a sealed pan and open element air filter. With this latest development, I think I have a change in plans. I've got a couple of TPI filter cases to work with. It remains to be seen whether it'll fit under the glass hood though. The bulkhead across the front isn't of the OEM design. And then's there's the adaptation of the 4" pipe to the carb itself to consider as well.
Also found out how much converter I have, lol.. I lifted a little at the top of the shift because a car was coming, then thought screw it. After it shifted, I went a little before taking my foot out of it. Need to find a chassis dyno close.
