2460 headers

2460 headers

Can anyone that has these headers installed please snap some pics of the passenger side clearance between the tubes and the frame rail? Mines touching 🤔

Ok thnx I did have the subframe out for sandblasting and painting. I must have messed up installing it. It looks like you have close to and inch of clearance there.

The two engine mounts are not the same I am not sure the concquinces of getting them backwards but that might be it

Ok ill check that too thnx, any suggestions on replacement motor mounts? poly versus stock rubber

So this is why the headers were way off 🤔 and I built my own y pipe using mandrel bends which may need some tweaking after I get this fixed

Looks like you're going to have to make a cut or two to your y-pipe but I'm glad you found the issue who knows what other weird things this could have caused

Looks much better
I had to use a hydraulic ram in between the rails and push it out a little over 1/2" for the new k member to line up
