I'm not sure how much room you'll have with duals, but I like the Hooker Aero Chamber muffler. Sound clip is in the signature.

Hey Mark, how long did it take your Aerochamber to break in? I just put my cat back on, it sounds great, but isnt as loud as I thought it would be... sound tight and clean as hell though!

I've got a two chamber flow on mine....I think it sounds the best. Totally my opinion though...everyone has their own preference. Just try to go for a sound that has a nice tone and not too too loud. Just because it's loud, doesn't means it sounds good. Mark's sounds good though, that's the first clip i've heard of the hookers.

I don't think it did break in, of course maybe I just didn't pay close enough attention.
Oh, and the sound clip in the signature, I was shifting at 4200 rpms and by 3rd gear I guess the wind interfered with the microphone.

I love my hooker cat back. Had it on for about 6 months now and it seems to get louder everyday. The 500 mile round trip from school to home really help break it in.

I have dual 2.5's on mine. Ground clearance is an issue, the lowest part is where the pipes go under the crossmember. 3" would probably scrape even more, although mine wont scrape if i'm careful over bumps. I went with Dynomax bullet mufflers, they're loud...i mean loud...but I like noise, and it sounds pretty good in my opinion, but it's a matter of personal preference like the guys said before. I have some pics of my setup, but I have to get them developed.

Ground clearance is a big issue with my 89 iroc. Right now i just have the manifolds on it merged into 3in pipes with no mufflers that exit right under the doors. I just welded something up to last me until i get my headers. The exhaust scrapes on almost everything. I'm looking into getting some oval pipe when i do it right. here's a picture of my makeshift 3in.

:note the high-strength titanium-alloy exhaust hanger

It keeps it off the ground for now

Try a flowmaster single chamber muffler, that would be loud as hell.
