My boyfriend bought me set of hood louvers for my 86 Z28 and when they arrived yesterday they had both broken right in HALF, needless to say I was livid then the guy he got them from has refused to accept the return and replacement/ money back!!!! So I am in desperate need of the hood louvers ASAP due to my baby is going into be painted in a couple weeks and when she gets out I want to make her complete with a set of louvers!!! Any help would be great!!!!

 

I'll pull a set out of my garage and report back...

 

thanks so much the guy shipped them with absolutely no packing stuff so there are only 3 good pegs on each louver and they both split in half due to not being shipped properly packed

You can melt them back together with a soldering iron of you're skilled.

 

they each only have 3 pegs on them though so melting them is not really worth it

 

New ones are expensive, but if you're restoring your car, you might wish to consider the following replacement:
