Figured today was a good day to finally build some SFC's for my car. Got the passanger side done and just have to let the paint dry and go weld it on. Look good?

Good work! I'm interested to see what they look like on the car, because they are pretty weird looking.

Don't forget, alot of SFC tie the SFC to the front control arm bolt. You fabricator you!

And do I see a potential racing lawn mower in the background

Had to make it heavy so that when I put my brakeless Dana 60 truck axle in and it does a huge wheel stand I don't break the car in half.

Your going to win a Darwin award someday.

Those look awesome! How long did they take you? Just one shot or you have to try it a few times?

Remeber, when you install them, tie them into the rails for the tranny tunnel..

BTW, my lawn mower is going to own you. (mine has a wicked cool beer holder!)

Alright, got these done and in and I must say that welding under this car is a royal bitch. The welds look like **** but they are strong. Glad to be done with this. If I ever get access to a lift I want to redo the welds, just grind them off and start over. The crappy part is that I am actually a very good welder.

Those look good under there. Especially being blue and all. So, uh....want to do mine? I've already got them, just need to put them in.

Have you driven the car with those on?

Very nice Rodney. Interesting design where you went up and over the exhaust like that.

SFC's rock.... when Brandon did mine..... it felt great. When I put the HSR on, I had to ditch the Strut Tower Brace and couldn't even tell a difference.

W/O SFC there was a HUGE difference having the STB on/off.

very nice job, they look great. I definitely like what you did with the passenger side. I made mine from 1 x 2 rectangular tubing. On that side where the step-up is, I used a piece of 1/2 x 2 plate with the 1 x 2 welded to each side of it. ended up looking like this:

kinda get the idea. It made it very strong at the joint. The only places I'm concerned about on mine are along the rocker pinch rail, becuase, as you can atest to, it is a pain welding above you.

*well, my little diagram didn't work out too well.

Looks great Rodney.

Only thing I might add, is on the pass. side, run it further towards the front of the car there is a tie in point up there. Next time I see you, check out how mine connect up there. It would be an easy addition to yours.
