Need help w/ CAI plans

Well the time is here that I'm finally going to get around to fabbing up a CAI setup. The new motor is putting out around 500 HP N/A, so I'm sure I'm not getting aqequate airflow with the IROC dual snorkel setup. Car has DFI so I don't need to worry about MAF. My favorite setup is SLP's dual setup, but I've been unable to locate one....so I guess they're discontinued. That leaves me with four options I guess:
1. 3.5" home made set up.
2. 4" home made setup.
3. Retain the dual snorkel setup and fab up a piece of aluminum to go directly from the dual snorkels to the TB.
4. SLP kit. #21006 I think.
I'm open to opinions........pictures and a parts list would be nice if its a custom CAI. I personally like option three, but I'm not sure the 3" opening of the dual snorkel will flow enough air for my needs.
TIA

If you are down for some Home Depot shopping, get some of this:

One- 3" ABS black T-pipe
one- 4 - 5ft of 3" abs black pipe (of course you will have to cut and fit)
Two - 45* or 90* elbows
Two KN 3" x 7" filters.

I did this, except I only did the 1 side. But the stock '91 TB-sock works fine over the 3" abs pipe and works pretty damn good. The black gives it a nice I'm cheap but know to keep it low profile look.

if you search for it theres tons of home made ones but my favorite has to be this one were a guy had a exhaust shop make one it splits off into two kinda like the slp one but this one puts the filters in front of the rad instead of in the fenders also with the slp i think you had to move the battery and the charchole canister and cut a hole in the metal under that stuff.

Here is how i did my set up.
It consists of 3" Mandrell bent piping that is pollished. I still had to deal with MAF. Its still a work in progress, im going to get stainless clamps to dress it up more, cut out where the battery sits and drop the filter down to receive more cold air and also get rid of the old rubber clamp to the TB and get someting smother. It flows good with my K&N filter ( 6"x3" ) and sounds awsome.
Good luck with yours and post some pics when done.

My CAI is currently in the works....pretty similar to the pic posted above. I bought 2 3.5" mandrel aluminum 90 degree bends (one horizontally out from the TB and one runs vertically down through the battery tray. I'm going to cut a 3.5" hole through the tray (since my battery is in the rear) and I have a K&N 7" long oval filter that will be mounted under the tray to get air in. I've got a silicone adapter and reducer on the way to connect the tubing together...pretty straight forward, and I think it will be VERY effective in feeding the engine...alot more so than the stock setup hopefully
I should have pics this week when it's complete. FYI - The entire setup, tubing, clamps, silicone adapters, and K&N filter will be around $130 total when it's all said and done.
BTW - I was planning on going with 4" tubing to match the TB opening, but due to the crappy TPIS miniram thermostat housing that gets in the way it was impossible....in the future I hope to get the housing modified!

I'm currently redoing my setup with .125" 3003 alum sheet metal "boxes" coming from the "fog light holes" up to the stock air box. For now I'm going to use the stock plastic air box, but am planning on making a new one out of aluminum as well. For now, I trashed the old steel setup and I just draw air from in front of the radiator. I'm making autocad plans right now so as soon as they're done, anyone can have a copy.
