You have to drill the clamshell mount open, I believe it's riveted together.

ok...yea it is...but after that do i just us the ties to put it back 2gether?...

I wouldn't say it's difficult, but I never actually did this (on the motor mounts) so you may want to have someone else chime in. I just ran solid mounts, lol

o ok...thanks ill just go ahead and try it with the ties...how does the car run with the solid mounts?...does the car rumble?...

Put it this way...

With the car idling, I can clearly watch the antenna on the fender swaying from the idle. I can't say how it compares to poly or even rubber bushings though, because I put the new mounts in at the same time I swapped from a V6 to the 355. But there is certainly a "shake" to it, you can feel the idle through the car, not just hear it

The ties are to hold it together until you get the bolts in. Once it's bolted down, it doesn't need anything else to hold it together.
