1991 & 1992 Firehawk Q's...
Ok, all of the info that I know about these cars is here:
http://www.TransAmGTA.com/Firehawk
Now I have one last lingering question: How many of the 25 are geniune 1LE's from the factory?
Now the lit says that the base suspension on the Firehawk was the 1LE unless you got the compitition package SO now when you ordered a Formula with B4U was it built as a 1LE (with this RPO on the SPID label) at the factory like all other 1LE's or did SLP add the 1LE suspension to upgrade it if the customer did not want the compitition package? Now since #27 is not a real B4U car I know that it for sure wasn't a 1LE but what about the other 24 cars? What about the cars that DID get the compitition package, were they also 1LE's even though they still got upgraded by SLP?

I found the information on firehawk.org. I was wondering why they listed 1 being produced with it's car # being 7. Whatever!
I just rechecked it and it appears that this was a registry that I found and only #7 was registered. Oh well.
I remember seeing a 92 sell at Barrett-Jackson this year for $19,500. That's a better price if you ask me!

Alright, I just made an fair size update to my Firehawk page adding pics of the #003 car and Bruce's #024 car and I have pics of #007 on the way from the owner soon. I also added a link to a great article from Pontiac Enthusiast Magazine. I also just won the following auction on eBay and I'll be scaning that article to post when I get it:

Now, YES there were 91 Firehawks made and yes there were 7 or 8 I'm not sure of the exact number but I know it's either 7 or 8. REMEMBER, I'm talking about how many Firehawks were 91 models, NOT how many were built in the calender year 1991. It took up to 9 months for some buyers to take final delivery from the time they paid. I saw 2 Firehawks go for less than $20K at Barrett-Jackson. Considering that #003 has the comp. package I'd say it's a VERY good deal.
Also, since I have to speak with Jim Mattison from PHS on the phone again tomorrow about some odd things he noticed and has questions about on my 1991 GTA, I'll ask him about the 1LE question and I'll post the answer here. Also I'm going to ask him exactly which Firehawks had the Compitition package and I'll post that on the web page.
