Doesn't appear to have the formula hood. The VIN won't help you very much, unless the 8th digit is an "8" meaning 350 V8, but on this particular car it couldn't be that since it's a stick shift.

The more modified a car is, the harder it is to tell what it's supposed to be, and the less it's worth as an individual model. From that pic, it could've been anything, Firebird, Formula, T/A, GTA, all customized, so what's the diff..

I'm guessing it's a base Firebird

Probably not a Formula. It has that kit on it too.

Its a base model, don't waste your time. Note the firebird badge on the fender, the flat hood, wrong wheels, wrong spoiler.

Not a Formula. It looks worth it though anyway. Lose that gay spoiler kit if you buy it.

If I were selling a car, I'd at least make sure the tires weren't flat

Well, if he can get the guy closer to 3000, its a pretty good price for a loaded 92, 8cyl -5 spd Firebird with mods. The 91-92 Firebird coupes without the ground effects are pretty rare too.

This is assuming the car is in good shape of course.

if you ask me, there's nothing special about that car. Unless you're going for that specific aftermarket look. It doesn't seem to have any distinction as a particular model, so it could've been pieced together from any model, GTA, T/A, Formula, base bird. I'd wait for something more original, unless you like this particular customized look, then go for it.
