Looking for B4C!!! Help!!

Well, my wife and I have decided to look for another thirdgen and decided to go for a 91-92 b4c. Combo doesn't matter, 305 5-speed or 350 auto.

As long as the body is straight with little or no rust and decent interior.

Miles are not a concern as long as it runs. I plan to do a resto this spring and summer on it.

I remember a few people hear mentioned that there were 2 on the east coast for sale and have been for about a year or two.

I also heard of another for sale in the Tuscon/Phoenix area.

The distance is not a problem as long as it is for the right b4c.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Email me at mlduarte@earthlink.net

Manny

Still thirdgenless for now.

Good Luck, hope you find a nice one! These are just as hard to find as a 1LE, try to get a late '91 or '92 as these came with the 1LE brakes. However if you find a nice one you might get sticker shock, expect to pay good money unless the seller is desperate, remember only 592 made in 1991 and 589 made in 1992 (my numbers might be crossed) $6000 and UP is what I would expect.
It took me over a year to find mine.

On 1LE.net I saw an EX Texas DFS B4C looks like in good shape but not for sale, owners email was in there under "members" you might want to email him for info, anything can happen.

Manny,

I found one for sale here in Tucson, but that was around spring of 2001. I have no idea what happened to it.

We have 3 B4C's and we found them by checking all 3rd gen sites and autotrader.com. It just takes time.

I sold most of mine awhile ago. Still have my CHP car though(Not Really for sale). My friend has a 1992 DGGM B4C in Dallas TX. 92,xxx miles, pw, pl, cruise, ph, am/fm radio, nearly new tires but has a few dents. Let me know what price range you are looking to stay in to see if this car might work for you. It was a TX its whole life. I actually own the car but havent decided if I really need two of them. LMK

That sounds nice, but the whole purpose of getting a B4C is to keep it as original as possible, that one has a new motor, different gears, totally different paint, among other things and it is $8500. Probably a very nice car but who would want to do all of that to a true B4C. Also B4C's never came with those hood blisters and that Z28 wing, a lot of add-ons. That is a very nice car but I would pass on that one and try to find an unmolested model. Just my 2c.

Now that I think about it I really shoudn't have done the mods I did, but they are really minor and totally reversible (free mods) other than the exhaust. The exhaust sort of took away the sleeper aspect of the car, but I can live with that. The cars body and interior is as it was in 1992 other than the normal wear and tear (95K miles). The thing I really like about the car is the big front brakes, I owned a 1992 Z28 5.7L before this car and the difference in braking is night and day. I kind of getting off the subject. Out of the 1100+ B4C's produced in '91 and '92 quite a few went to Texas, Arizona, and California, so you might have luck finding one close.

I'm selling my '91 B4C right now. I am asking $3200, I'm in Wisconsin. The car is loaded, 350/Auto, 3.23's, 4 wheel disc, p/w,p/l, p/m, power hatch, Great interior and no rust (anywhere!!!!!), engine runs strong, and tranny shifts fine. The reason I'm trying ot get rid of it is becuase I need money for tution. If your interested shoot me an e-mail and I'll tell you more and send you pic's.
E-mail me here for a fast response. geric854@uwsp.edu
Thanks, Garrett

Trust me I hate to sell for so cheap but I need tuition money like really really bad. And this is the only car that I can bear to sell right now. I wish I had engough money to keep it but I don't. I am pricing it so cheap because I thought it would be an easy quick sale but it's been a very hard sell. Why I don't know. Please some body buy this car from me so I can continue my education and also have some money for my '67 Camaro engine rebuild (302's ain't really that cheap).
Later, Garrett

There's a nice 92 right near me. It's an ex- NY State Police car that probably spent its life crusing up and down the thruway. It's got about 100k miles. It's an L98. It was repainted a couple years ago, but hasn't left the lot since the paint job. Last I knew the nutcase was asking $6500, which is why it's sat for so long. Unless he's completely off his rocker, I'd imagine that he'd take $5k or less for it by now. If you want the phone number, send me an email or PM.

Well, I have 8, I never really sat down and counted, My brother also has an '88 IROC and a '77 Camaro (parts).

Here's what I do have.
'91 RS B4C (For Sale !!)
'67 Camaro (in pic installing a 302 in that baby)
'68 RS/SS 396 4 speed, needs resto, but will be very nice when done.

Parts cars-
'68 RS Camaro originally a 396 w/ an auto
'91 RS Totaled front end
'87 IROC TPI 350 pretty beat and picked up cheap
'86 Berlinetta T-top (I mean who wants a Berlinetta, sorry Ber Fans)
'82 Berlinetta picked it up for $100 because of Borg Warner T-10 trans.

Plus, non-thirdgen's,
'63 Converitble Corvair
'65 Monza Corvair
'80 ElCamino (turbo)
'75 Chevy Monza
'82 Olds 442
'83 Chevy Silverado 4x4
'89 Blazer 4.3 4x4
'85 Dodge Ram 4x4 (Mud Truck).

I know this seems like a lot but I grew up around cars and never though anything of it. (My 1st birthday present was the 1967 camaro in the pic, my dad saved it for me after he got married, 3 years before I was born)
None of them are super nice, but all are fun to drive. And for all of you doubters that want to throw up the I can supply pic's with me in them.

Thanks, for letting me brag, Later, Garrett

It must have been your school email account. It was the one listed at the end of the classified section.
