Wiper arm replacement

I was wondering if anyone has replaced their wiper arms? I broke the arm when I was dusting off all of the snow I have gotten here in Ohio. I called a dealer and they want $53 for a new arm which isn't too bad compared to some of the prices they charge on other items. I was just wondering if it is hard to replace them or if it will be a 10 minute job. Thanks for all your help.

Yes I bought 2 new ones because the paint on mine were worn.

GM P/N 22094891 & 22094892

$16.58 each from www.GMpartsDirect.com

It's very easy to install them, 5 min. tops.

I don't know how you could stretch that out to 10 minutes.... it would be a matter of seconds. It's just about as easy as replacing your gas cap, except that you'll need a screwdriver.

Keep in mind there are more than one design that GM used from 82-92.

Hey not trying to make you look bad or anything but I talked to a rep. from GMPARTSDIRECT.COM and the part number for the arms for the 1984's is:
LH:20373667-$25.63
RH:20216897-$26.40
Like I said I am not trying to make you look bad or anything. If it weren't for you I would have spend twice as much on they through a dealer. Thanks again for your help.

Your not, As Drew pointed out there were 2 styles. The P/N's I posted were for my 92 GTA, I also got them from a rep at GMpartsDirect.com but they are for a 92 Firebird...

You ever heard of spray paint?

I'm sorry, I'm not rich enough to buy new wiper arms when I can paint my old ones for less than a buck....
