3rd brake light in spoiler, NOT 3 piece!

What cars did this come on? The light is mounted in the middle underneath.

I had an 87 SC with this spoiler, but my 3rd brake light was on the top of the hatch.

The 1988 Sport Coupe, early production run only. It is called the Aerowing Spoiler, RPO D81. The three piece spoiler's RPO is D80. The pic below is directly from the GM 1988 Camaro brochure. (Sorry for the quality.)

Your SC was not originally equipped with the optional rear spoiler. The high mounted third brake light (exterior) was used on all Camaros in 1986 and 1987 SC without the rear spoiler. A previous owner added the 1988 SC spoiler to your car.

That's the spoiler I want for my car!

Anyone know why it was such a short production?

For them being rare, I have seen them two times at different junkyards, and a good friend of mine has one sitting in his garage.
