I really do like that Berlinetta

Its a well preserved piece of Camaro history.

It has had some paint work, but atleast they freely admit it.

Good price too (so far).

Just needs to have that replacement tail pipe trimmed to factory appearance. And the pinstriping on the pass. fender replaced (good luck finding a correct repro!)

I don't love or hate the Berlinettas, but you can't deny how nice an older, clean, and well-kept car looks.

Not a Berlinetta fan either, but that is a nice looking car. Too bad it doesn't have the 'pod' radio.

obviously.. the berlinetta was a highway cruiser, it was heavier and more expensive than a Z28 when new..

I realize that. <3

That doesn't mean that it wasn't a waste of chevy's time and money to produce those cars.

Anyways.... I am not trying to pull this thread off topic. For a berlinetta it looks good, but compared to anything else it looks and acts like a turd on wheels.

I may be misinformed here (and it is very possible considering that I am not very familiar with early edition camaros), but didn't a lot of those cars come with a 4 banger??

i dont think any Berlinettas came 4cyl.. Only the early Sport Coupes did... Dependin on year Berls came with a LCI v6 2.8 litre or an option Lg4 V8 5.0 litre

i think berlinettas are BAD. i drove one the other day, and i thought it was really cool. it needed alot of work, and if i ever can get the money up, i may buy it (i talked the guy down to $1200!). the cruise worked and everything! still had the pod radio! it was neat. but the light switch panels (which just happends to have EVERYTHING else you would ever need ) was stolen out of the car and so i couldn't even use the turn signal.
