I was quoted 90 bucks Canadian from the local GM Dealer. Though I decided to just not use it.. stays cleaner in my opinion..

I know the GN & GNX and even the T-type Buick Lesabre's had printing on them. It almost looked like they painted them. I am not sure how, but I always thought it looked good.
For a show car I think its awesome, but for a driver I think it would be a waste, just because if it gets dirty, ther is almost nothing you can do short of replacing it.

The insulator is kind of 2 fold.
1) its used to lower the noise from the engine.
2) in case of excessive heat it keeps the paint from getting too hot and yellowing. Seen it.

I wouldn't mind a little engine noise insulation just so my paint doesn't start turning yellow. Come on, you know how hot these cars run.
