When I bought my 84z alittle over 2 years ago it came loaded, its a t-top car with the console, milage/trip meter and all that, is in excellant shape also the third wiper, I see very few with these two things, was this a special order and is it a rarity, surely it isnt a special order is it? Ive run all the RPO codes on this car, pretty amazing what came on it, including the origional h.o. motor.

 

In 1984 alone, according to the Camaro White Book, 12,286 cars came with the rear wiper (83-86). The overhead console (84-87) wasn't anything particularly special either: 33,274 cars were equipped with them that year. Both were factory options.

Do you have the flashlight in yours?

 

yes I still have the flashlight and it works. had to take it apart and clean it, pretty simple, works great.

 

Thats the hard part to find in those center over head Consols

THE OLD COUPLE I BOUGHT IT FROM TOOK PRETTY GOOD CARE OF IT, BUT FOR MYSELF THE HARDEST THING TO WORK ON OR SAY AROUND WOULD BE THE SHORTY HEADERS, TYPICAL THO- AS FOR THE FLASH LIGHT, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIND ONE ON E-BAY, I WENT ON THERE AND YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE THE PARTS ON THERE FOR OUR CARS FROM 82-92, UNREAL! LOOK ON THAT SITE AND YOU MIGHT BE FORTUNANTE AND FIND ONE.
