future value?????

i know this has be covered before and i serched and read some things but i hae a few questions. i know the converts are going to be worth the most but what else to you think will be worth money besides the 1LE and firehawk or B4C's? hard tops? t tops? z28 or IROC? i was thing bout buying a iroc project and restoreing to stock to you think that would be a good idea. i have a 92 z28 every factory option its a 350 hard top but the orig. engine is gone it was replaced with a vortec 350. so i would have i stock and i modded.

Well a stock broker will be best to advise you on investements, as far as cars go, never expect a return on your investement unless you can buy low and sell high (stock market) I also love working on cars but the investment should be enjoyed by the owner without the expectaion of making a profit. Look at the classifieds, people who have invested 12k can't even get 3k for their cars.

i competely understand what your saying but i love cars im not expecting to get alot for cars i just want something to enjoy and if i has to sell it i was hoping you could get a decent amount. i want something to enjoy and build but something that will have a ok resale value thats why i picked the IROC they seem to sell for the best and i like them best besides the 91 or 91 z which i have a 92 z28

No letter or number will indicate if you have an Iroc in the vin, it is all in the RPO codes.

An Iroc is a great start, I purchased mine for $850 and sold her 6 months later after an interior change for $6000. It all depends on your location and the demand.

That is the code for an Iroc, you should also have the z28 code?

I can never figure out why so many people are so worried about their cars value I don't have an IROC, because It'll be worth money someday I have it, because I love it, and dont plan on selling, and am not worried about resell value just my opinion though not trying to be rude or anything to anyone just felt like ranting cause this is like the 100000 post I've seen about value of thirdgen cars

This is a history/restoration forum. Nobody knows the future and nobody knows the value of these cars. Before this gets out of hand with opinions, I'm going to shut it down. When you get that investment car and have questions on restoring it, bring it here.
