1/43 scale north york players camaro
I found this north york players camaro on e-bay. I have never seen a model like this. Is the north york players a real players camaro or just a model? Did the company make other players camaros?

They only made this one car. The owner/driver owned the store that sold it. Scott Maxwell. He still owns the store. No more models. I have a couple of these myself (one to build, one to keep in it's unassembled state).
I talked to a fellow who makes reproduction decals for these cars (one of the two producers of the decals back in the day) and he is open to making some smaller scale decals so we could actually make up other cars from that era. Nothing ready yet ... but in the works.

Actually I have made model kit decals on my PC. You need some time, and patience, but it is doable. I used Corel Draw!
You can buy the decal material from some hobby shops, and run it through a printer. Cut them out and the apply them like you would any other decal by dipping them in water.
The down side is the decals work the best on a White or light colored car as the background is clear and most laser printers do not print in White, but CMYK...

I have a picture of one of those models fully assembled and painted. I'll post it up in a bit.
