No option 25th anniversry car?

Just got this car. ITs a 92 RS. 305 TBI 5 speed.

The car has the 25th annervesery badge on the dash.

Car is white with red interior.

Manual windows, manual locks, manual mirrors. T Tops. No rear defroster.

Could this be a 25th car? There is no RPO sheet in the console? Does not look like there ever was one there?

Also, the seats are high back, but do not have a seperate head rest. Are they correct?

And, the window cranks are chrome. Should they be black?

Thanks.

The window cranks should be black, not chrome. Are the rims color coordinated? what about the front grill, is it white? Does the car have the metal 25th Anniversary emblem on the driver's side rear spoiler? These are just a few ideas that might help. All 92 Camaros were 25th Anniversary so the dash badge isn't gonna help you any.

The wheels are white, as is the grille.

There is no badge on the spoiler, but the car has been repainted, and they filled the emblem place on the nose of the car.

What about the seats? Shouldn't they have a seperate headrest?

Also the car has vinyl door panels.

Not sure if there was a seat requirement for the Heritage Edition. I don't think so. What I'm not sure of is if there was a high back option in 92 for anything other than a base RS with a v6.

I did not realize they still used high back seats in the later models. I thought all the later models had head rests.

Do you still have the sticker in the console in the trunk?

In 1992 the RPO sticker was not in the console, it was in the storage compartment in the left rear luggage area. Look for RPO code Z03, which was the "Heritage" package -- striping and the other visual cues described by Scott. That's what most people consider a true 25th Anniversary Camaro. As mentioned, all '92 Camaros got the "25th Anniversary" badge on the dash.

The highback seats and vinyl door panels you describe sound like the base Camaro interior to me. Only the optional Custom Cloth or Custom Leather interiors got the "european style" seats with separate headrests.

I forgot that the SPID label would be in the rear lock box in 92. Check there for RPO Z03. If it's not there, it's not a Heritage Edition.

maybe i wasn't as clear as i should've been. I was unaware however, that there was another console in the trunk, that didn't have the sticker :P (yes lock box would have been more technical).

No, the car was ordered with the base interior which had the vinyl door panels. The seats with the seperate headrests was optional and had cloth on the door panels. This was known as custom cloth interior.
To verify on your RPO/SPID label you should have code 72B.
