91-92 yellow formula?????

Did they make a yellow formula? I know they made trans am's and GTA's. Any formulas? I searched but maybe searching the wrong words and didn't find out.I know they made a yellow one in the 85-87(?) years.

Thanks, looks good in yellow. I wonder if there are any 350 cars in this color floating around.

Re: 91-92 yellow formula?????

Does anyone know how many were made? Why did they change the decals and Got rid of the "formula 350" decal? Anyone know the reason behind it?
Also did they make a convertible one? Or was the top stuff to heavy?

Neither the 1991-1992 Formula nor GTA were offered in Convertible form from GM. The option was only offered on the base Firebird and Trans Am.

They have a 5.7 liter decal on the hood. They went with a lil less flash on the door..

I have a ttop 305 5speed JY 92 formula.
I also have a JY 92 T/A 305 auto vert.

Re: 91-92 yellow formula?????

If you look closely at a 91-92 Formula all the "Formula" decals are different then 87-90. They're a different font, more of fading block style then the earlier outline style. It's just another styling change to make the car look less dated and different.

Yeah, what's even weirder is that they offered the Formula in convertible form in 94 when the 4th gen convertibles came out, yet they discontinued them again later (98 I think?). Geeze, make up your mind GM!

Nice pair.

When I factory ordered my 92 Formula 305 5 speed, I was so close to ordering it in yellow. But I chickened out at the last second and ordered it dark green.
