Why would it be?

Virtually none of these cars are any semblance of remotely rare.

If you want to be picky, all 1990 F-Bodies are "rare" because of their low production numbers that year (strike/'91 models coming out early), not to mention that I'll bet less than 30% of them are still on the road.

Keep in mind that rare does not mean its desirable or valuable though, especially if someone cut a hole in the roof (ASC or not).

thanks, i will. i have read all over the internet that there was only 40hardtops and 2 that went to private buyers and one was made by asc.i will be posting pictures thanks again

I think that it is great that you are so fond of your car. So, yes that does make it rare. From the strict "numbers matching, factory codes" rareity, perhaps not.

On the other hand, first of all, thank you for your interest in the Thirdgen, secondly for being interested enough to search and post on this site, and thirdly, for having two XX chromosomes.

My wife loves the Thirdgens as much as I do and it is so incredible to have your better half tell you "if you don't buy that car, I will".

So, very much glad to welcome you here.

thank you so much gary i did have a 91 i loved it had the v6 now i got my v8 i really love it this car my husband put all of it together for me so the car is priceless to me as soon as i figer out how to put pictures i will thanks to u and ur wife

wait 30-40 years and it will be LOL! Good example of rare. My Harley is one of 2000 made and only 1 of 1000 in black-the other 1000 was orange. Sure my bike is rare, but when you look them up it only books for a few hundred more than a normal 2007 Sportster 1200. Alot of guys with the XL50's keep them low miles and stock, but mine is moded-miles are getting up there, I still have the stock paint tho. Like is always said-just becasue it's rare does not mean it's worth alot.
