Yellow Gold Formula

If you got excited by the title, then imagine my dissapointment in finding a local, rust free, straight, '87 yellow gold roller that would have been the perfect recipient of my '89s drivetrain and interior. Only for the seller to become a complete flake after the first e-mail.

I asked for more pic's, I get in response, "I took enough," followed by an unwarranted "I won't take a dime less," Even though it clearly said O.BO. Never-the-less price hadn't even been mentioned yet. I had the trailer tires aired up, the wife angry, and I was ready to go when I didn't get another single response, and then the add gets pulled from Craigs.

Anyway, just had to vent. I feel like a kid that just had his candybar stolen.

I feel your pain, But look at the bright side......

Isn't it really better to be the kid without a candy bar than the man in the dog house ?

Yes, but I'm willing to be in the doghouse if it's with a new Formula.

Ya, the "It will save me thousands in the end" and "It's local and rare" plea's sure didn't help my case any.

I just deleted the guys fone number. I was up that way to grab some parts but ran out of time to swing by and look at it.
Wish I would have.

Re: Yellow Gold Formula

In the back of my mind, I had a feeling you would be looking at that one Tony. Sounds like you got further with him than I did. Can't imagine it sold during a blizzard. My guess is he had a change of heart and decided not to sell. I would have loved to have owned it.
