Z28, L69, MM5, 8587, whats not to love?
Suspension looks fairly loaded in the front, makes me wonder if the drivetrain isn't still in the car at the time of the picture.

Re: Behold! A 1986 L69 IROC!
Door is build date, not model year, but still if it said 1986 I'd expect it to be an 86, or 87. Maybe the VINs don't match, ie wrong spid, wrong door, wrong title.
As much as I appreciate the L69, I couldn't really see going out of my way to get one. Certainly not enough passion for them to buy a basket case. It's 2018, cars should be flying, not drinking fossil fuels through a carburetor. Even an 80's throw back should at least be EFI. And on a personal and spiritual level, I am diametrically opposed to all things 305. Easy enough problem to fix, but then it's not really an L69 anymore....
Babbling... It's 12 degrees outside. Carry on.

Re: Behold! A 1986 L69 IROC!
This is how I responded:
"Yeah, the SPID is the SPID. If it matches the VIN on the car, it's an '85. Doors can be changed. Titles can be mistaken. The VIN is the car's birth certificate."
Waiting for his response.
