Value of 1992 Trans Am GTA

Hi guys, im looking for info on what is the (somewhat) current value of a 1992 GTA?
I quite rarely see 1992 GTA models for sale, is that just because of the low production numbers, that there aren't many left these days or whats the deal with them, or are they just no more desireable/valueable than any other GTA model year?

According to Frankie's GTASourcepage, there was only 226 - 1992 GTAs. That does not include the 48 - exported to Canada GTAs.

So, yes, the 1992 GTA is the lowest production year of the GTA from 1987-1992.

Re: Value of 1992 Trans Am GTA

The 92 GTA has really low production numbers, the highest factory hp engines available in third gens(minus the TTA and other specialty models) and has certain parts and features that are hard to come by such as the door cup holders and the tail lights.

The facelift for the Birds really seems to be a love it or hate it kind of thing and many are not fans of the air bag steering wheels but that is personal preference.

That may explain why there aren't many for sale,
i sometimes might see -91 model tho, but rarely -92 models.

Were the most common colors for the -91 and -92 GTA models, red white and black? Were they some special colors available also, does someone here have info how many red black and white, etc, -92 GTA models were produced back in the day, and how many are left 😁 Im just curious why often the GTA models that there are for sale, are often diminishing towards the closer to the -92 models i get, even -90 models are rarely for sale, most common GTA models seems to be -87-89, but -91 and -92 im most curious about, since i've always liked the styling on the -91-92 birds the best, but thats just me, i know everyone has their own favourites, and thats great, alltho i might think that a -84 black Trans Am with gold stripes and gold side skirts might be the coolest looking out there with the bowling ball hubcaps aka K.I.T.T hubcaps.

I have Robert Casey’s book that lists that info, here is a copy of the page if you are interested:

It’s anyones guess how many of these are left out there but I would say it’s much less than how many were made.

I also love the 84s and that color combo is killer, I almost bought a 84’ TA that was white with the gold before I found my GTA.

The Pontiacs just don’t have the same following as the Chevys. Less demand equals lower prices.

Thanks for the info, i appreciate it.
I assume over there in the USA you guys got most of the 91-92 GTA models left, here in EU here is probably 20-60, -91-92 GTA models left, idk.
I have nodest that there is at least one 1991 GTA for sale in Germany.

I know few car sites in Europe if u guys got a specific thirdgen in mind, i can look it up, its just a hobby of mine since i like these cars, so im sometimes checking whats out there for fun.

I've been a thirdgen guy half my life, i just wish ppl save as many of thirdgens around since these cars in nice stock condition are diminishing as the years go by.

Yeah i guess. Tho i've thought that if there is less Pontiacs, they're more valuable and rare, but thats just me, because im more of a Firebird guy than Camaro guy. 😄

The auction prices tell the tale of values.

You mean IROC-Z camaros. Other Thirdgen Camaros don't have the same following either. Funny how much that sticker on the door makes all the difference in the world. $$$
