These aren't the orginals, but stock replacements from Auto Custom Carpet (I had them customized with "IROC" stitched in silver). Sorry, the pic isn't terribly helpful.

I wish ACC could do it in the original IROC script.

I guess I'll go take some pics a bit later... I've got a couple sets of factory GM floormats now. I've got an NOS set circa 1985, the set that came in our 87 Iroc, and the set that came in my 91 RS... They're all basically the same, the only difference is that the 85 floormats only have the GM logo on the drivers side, the rest have them on the drivers and passengers side. The rear mats aren't marked in any way.

GM used to sell them for $70 for a set of 4.

My IROC still has the original floormats in them and they don't have the IROC script on 'em. They were typical GM floor mats with the 1"x1" GM logo at the top center. I just asked for these at the parts counter and they are gone. I did a national search and found some in Columbus, OH and Iowa. I called both dealers and the ones in Iowa recently sold and are now gone and the ones in Columbus were sold as a lot to a flea market guy in the fall. No factory floor mats remaining in dealer inventory!

The closest thing to originals? originals. I got my last set off ebay, they were NOS in the original GM paper envelope. Otherwise check junkyard cars. The ACC mats are the same size/shape, they just don't have the GM logo. And all their logo'd floormats don't use accurate font's so they look tacky.

Yeah I wouldn't get the 1's with the logos. Its just that I like stock stuff and the originals aren't easy to find.

If the ACC non logo'd floormats look the same, how hard would it be to remove the GM logo from another set, shave the carpet from the ACC set and glue the GM logo on? Would they look original?

hehehe ask Stu, he can tell you.

Thats probably what I should do with my formula since I drive it enough that stock mats would just wear out...

How about you get another set of floor mats to use when you are driving arround and use the orignal GM ones for show?

hehehe that would work too, except that I need one more set of mats anyway since my V6 doesnt have any...

That would work for most people though.
