cyberdyne digital gauge cluster for 85-89 camaro f/s
I have a digital cluster for sale I have installed it and it works great. but I think I am going to change the route i'm going and do the auto meter gauges instead.. It is ready to install. only bad thing is the blacked out lens is broke and it could be glued together or tint the factory lens in yours ad it will fit to this is what I was going to do.. also the trip and odometer unit was hacked when I got it I wasn't worried about it, but it can be swapped out easily. i'm looking for 120 shipped

Does this have its own sending units or does it workoff the factory ones?

this works off the factory units it is already to go soldered in. all you have to do is hook up the speedo wire. I had it hooked to the ez-tcu since I am running a 4l60e.

I know you can use a hall effect unit to send a signal to it but as long as you have you cable driving the optical sensor then you should be able to tap into it and use that . not totally sure but I found these facts while searching the site.
again I am using the ez-tcu with my tpi so it has a wire for this purpose which it whaat I am using right now.. I am going to swap over to all autometer gauges for a ls swap soon so I wont be needing it . the tcu has a built in speedo with the handheld so I can use it for the time being . figured I would give some one a chance to get a digital dash.

have another question when you say the trip and odometer were hacked? you mean this unit will not be able to keep track of trip and/or miles?

well when you install this into a factory cluster you have to remove the speedometer front faceplate. but the odometer internals are left.. so you still have the use of the optical sensor to send a sig to the ecm and drive the odometer and trip as well. when I got it someone apparently didn't do it right and the trip was messed up. I have a spare speedo and trip i will throw in as well so someone can fix it as it should be..
