Not sure what the differences are in the years, but if it is only the airbag then I will take any year since I don't care about the airbag.

My steering column is fubared and I'm tired of screwing with it.

Need a column for a 91-92, or a column for an earlier one with steering wheel.

I need a nice one, it's in a car I'm restoring. I don't want to screw with it, just bolt in and go.

You definitely need one from a 90-92 car because the wiring is different. We have them available on our site. Here's a link if you're interested.

Thanks! I looked on the site earlier but I must have missed it.

I also need one for a 89 Formula for my brother, good shape no problems. Got anything?

Re: WTB:Nice steering column for 91 Firebird

Sorry, we don't have any '89 columns right now. 1989 is a one year only column since it is the first year for VATS and the last year without an airbag. (The fact it is a one year only piece also makes it the most expensive column we sell.) However, if he disables his VATS system he can use an 84-88 column. We may be able to help you with an 84-88 column.

Disabling the VATS is not a problem, budget cars call for budget fixes.
