Power passanger seat...

Is it possible to make a power passanger seat...I was just wondering if anyone has ever done it and if so how it worked out?

I have the 92 leather. Only have ower on the drivers side. They are out of the car right now getting re upholstered. That is what gave me the idea. What is the articulation option and how can I add it?

I'd like to see the controls on the pass side.

Re: Power passanger seat...

It's simple, I did it this weekend. Get sone 10 guage wire and run one wire to the fuse box, run the other wire to anywhere you can ge a good ground (under the carpet). I ran the ground under the center console, I bought some crimp connectors for all attachments. I used a round crimp for the ground, some male and female fully insulated connectors for the seat, and a fuse extender for the power. I bought all the parts at True Value for under $10 and the seat works great

So what motors did you use? Which power control did you use? Did you use 3rd or 4th gen parts or make something from scratch? Any pics or diagrams. I am interested but want to be sure about the install before I begin.

Re: Power passanger seat...

I am thinking of doing this myself.I added a power drivers seat to my car from salvage firebird. If i were you,i would use a power seat track from either 3rd or 4th gen car,The power seat track should work from 4th gen car,I put both front seats in my car out of a 96 firebird. You will have to mount the seat control somewhere else as far as I know, you will not find a plastic panel and the hardware to mount it to the seat.I mounted mine in my glovebox. If you want to see a picture of it you can go to cardomain.com.Then search 92241.My pictures are on my last page
