Spraypaint and turtlewax bad combo?

I've had all the interior panels out of my car for about 2 weeks driving ghetto style with bare metal and wiring.

I sprayed all the beige interior panels (except for anything vinyl of course!) with satin black Krylon Fusion and they're all down here in the basement curing.

Once the paint is fully cured, would it be safe to hit it with some turtlewax F21 along with the rest of the interior or would this possibly break down the paint over time?

why would you bother? I know a few people that have sprayed interiors like you did. They hold up ok just painted. Turtle wax would be a bad idea.

Your asking why would I want to bother waxing the interior and making it look nice?

But thanks for the info. Guess I'll steer clear of the turtlewax idea.

It has been my experiance that the stain finish looks nice enough with some armour all. If you want a high gloss you should have sprayed it with gloss paint (which looks like complete crap). There is nothing worse then a interior spray painted with a high gloss. Personally I prefer the slight shine, armour all gives just that.

Re: Spraypaint and turtlewax bad combo?

When I did the T-top conversion on my 95 Z28, I bought some moldings out of the salvage yard. They were sun faded very bad so I bought some interior paint and painted all of it. Turned out real nice.

To each his own though, Good Luck.

Ive done the Interior Color change.. I actually wrote a long A$$ Post about it.. DOnt do a Gloss, I tried that out and it Looks CHEAP....I Like the O.E.M look on my gta and I got Duplicolor FLAT Black ( Even tho my car is originally grey interior, I stil change it to a OEM color and make it look that way)...Yes you can Armor all it or Black magic it But the flat black looks better...I Hope that you Degreased your parts and washed them down of any grease or film..Because if you didnt that Nice Job will go to crap....Look for my post, that will be able to help you im sure..
