I just installed the console!. Man i love the way it looks. Ive been wanting to do this for a long time. Finally got the chance to do it. It wasnt that hard to install. The only part that i had trouble with was sliding the console on the screws. Took me and my dad to get it to grab. Also if your going to do this install your going to have to move the ground out of the way. Dont follow what the instructions says on the tech article. Besides that, I love it. It adds a new look to the car. Tell me what you think.

Im sorry bro. I didnt mean it like that. I meant to say the ground. You have to move the ground in a different location from what you said. I kept hitting it with my console. Besides that, the rest of the instructions were first rate.

 

Hum, interesting. I've never experienced any interference (I assume you're talking about the black ground toward the windshield.) In most cars, as far as I know, the holes, to include the ground connection, are pre-drilled for the overhead.

At any rate, your install looks cool.

Thats what i figured. But i guess with my luck it didnt work. I had to drill a hole next to it. But in any case it was easy. Thanks for that write up bro! Could not have done it without you.

 

Thanks, but you may be crediting the wrong guy (IROCZDAVE wrote one, so did I, a long time ago, and NoahthePurdy used some of both, IIRC, and his turned out far superior than ours).

Wish I had the template when I installed mine. I cut along the entire length of the console.
