It wasn't my car, but my friends monte carlo. We were cleaning out the carpet. And there was this huge bulge in the back seat carpet. Like a snake died under there. We tore up the carpet and found a huge 3 foot didlo. It had what looked like blood stains on it. I touched it first, wanted to cut my hand off. Disgusting. We were scared to clean the rest of the car. But, nothing else came out. Must have been a chicks car before.

found about 6 bucks in change. an old looking sunpro tach. dvd tv looking headunit with a screen that seemed to be ruined. a ton of sun glasses. alot of pens. movie tickets. confetti. fuses. random other things i cant think of.
in my 89 i found a lot of unecessary wiring under the dash that was literally connected to nothing.
in my 84 camaro i found an amp in the trunk. clothes. jackets. and alot of change.
in my 70 chevelle i found a bunch of ford parts in the trunk alot of dead rats in the back seats. and the carpet was liquid nailed to the floor.

I haven't found anything funny or out of the ordinary except a half-assed wiring job where the speaker wires were cut from the harness, run to an amp where the spare should be, then out to all the speakers. The Charcoal Vapor Canister was wire tied to the cruise control bracket under the hood....I found a Hello Kitty figurine under the console of my wife's little turd of a car (97 Escort). I'll dig into the car some more & see what mysteries are hidden.

What color was that Bonneville? My parent's had an 80 & I know I lost a lot of toys in that thing. I lost a few hot wheels to the window vent on the dash since back then they didn't block them off like they do in today's cars.

I had an 87 firebird and was running a power cable to the back I couldn"t get it under the kicker I had been shoving my finger under it and finally unscrewed it to see what was in there turned out to be a crack pipe made from an old antena and a hypadermic needle I'm lucky though I didn't stick my self. I bought the car from a coulage professer. Haven't discovered anything in my 85 T/A.

I feel like it's weird that when I bought the 85 Iroc I once owned I found nothing anywhere inside it. No change, no screws, no bulbs, fuses, not ashes nor roaches nor butts. I am working a deal right now on an original owner 82 Z28, and i hope to regale you all with something soon. Really enjoyed this thread.

My brother just gave me his 87 T/A that he's had for 16 years. I found a male stripper business card tucked in between the ashtray door cover and the door/hinge piece. You couldn't see but a tiny white piece and I had to dig it out. He SWEARS some chick owned it and turned it into the dealer where he got the car from...

How about the weirdest thing I DIDN'T find? Oh, just brought the car home and after some tinkering found the lack of an air filter. Awesome.

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c
while attempting to find out why my stereo wasn't working i removed the rear columns panels (the ones that cover up the speakers.) only to discover, that the previous owner took it out(the speakers in this case)! Luckily my father works with the guy, and he gave me a whole tub full of parts that had been replaced or not been put on including the speaker (which works perfectly) and the front license plate mount (original in packaging.)
Also in a much worse off third gen i was pulling for parts, i found; Mouse skeletons/remains/ droppings.
and lots of snake skins . so essentially the circle of life happened in that car. wierd.

In mine when I got it there where heroin baggies all over under the glove box and seats, and a few needles (YUCK). Im guessing the car spent a lot of time in Camden...

when i got my car it was a project Iroc owned by a solder about to go to iraq. when we got it to my friends garage we pulled the seats, carpet, and trunk pannels.
we found a half pack of marlboro menthols, a few spent .223 rounds, performance stickers, tons of assorted reciepts, a few lighters, a glove and a glasses lense, and now the wierd and probably illigal stuff
found 2 zanex pills from what my friend told me, 1 percocet, and a few valiums haha, im glad i cleaned the car out before i got pulled over

In the 88 parts firebird that I had there was a lot of trash (energy drink cans, candy wrappers, fast food bags) I also found a report card from somebody I think I went to school with. In my 66 nova there was a nice bee's nest in the passenger side next to the bench seat. There was also I jug of antifreeze leaking all over the place in the trunk. The 88 Formula had about $8.00 in change and a big spot in the back where someone spilled a slushie and never cleaned it up. Also in my Eagle there were 5 air filters, 2 fuel filters, and a whole bunch of spark plugs, all new in the box. I guess the old guy who owned it before wanted to be prepared.
Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c
I just picked up an '86 Z28 that has some issues I'm trying to work out, one being a blower motor that doesn't work. While taking it out tonight, I found this with a bunch of leaves stuffed underneath the heater box assembly under the hood. If it were in the interior I wouldn't think it odd at all, but beside the engine?

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c
When I bought my '85 T/A in October of 2011, the radio was missing. In its place was a police scanner. The PO was a truck driver and enjoyed listening to that sort of thing. I didn't really give it any more thought but knew that the scanner was coming out soon. When I did get around to removing the scanner, I was following the antenna cable and it went under the door sill towards the back of the car. There was no antenna back there and so I considered this a bit odd. As it turns out, the spare tire was missing and the PO had placed a magnetic mount antenna in the well. I shuddered to think that I had driven the car over 50 miles home without a spare tire, and all four tires had cracks in the sidewalls. So far I haven't found any ****** or used condoms. I suppose that means the car had a more sedate PO.

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c
I was cleaning out my old 87 Firebird and got into the rear and found a compartment that was locked by a key. In there I found various screws, a tape deck holder, a speaker wire that went nowhere, the old owners manual, and some other various parts to my car. I opened the tape deck holder slot and rust dust flew out. It was daytime, yet you could see the orange dust fly in the air. Found some old air fresheners in it that smell great, and thats about it, yet there is still places i have to look through. Keep in mind I havent gotten into the interior yet either.

I've owned my '86 Z since new and when I recently pulled out the original carpets, in the rear well glued to the floor I found a white work glove, kind of like the ones you'd see the assembly line workers wearing.

Re: No doubt a pointless thread, but what's the weirdest thing youv'e found in your c
Have to add to this post as I recently found something that topped the list.
After owning my car for 4 years, gutting the entire interior down to bare metal from the firewall to the trunk and going over just about everything in, on and under the car, I thought I had found any and all oddities.
Well, about 2 months back I took off the rear spoiler to test fit my Extreme Dimensions 5" spoiler (Horrible fit BTW I got a refund and ordered a hawks). I had always noticed a very small metal tab sticking out from under the middle spoiler piece on the passenger side, but it was firmly in place so I figured it was part of the spoiler and thought nothing of it.
Got the middle piece off and discovered that this whole time it had a hacksaw blade wedged between the spoiler and the decklid. Put the spoiler back on without it and bolted up fine with no gap/movement. For the life of me I can't figure out what it was doing there
