New Steering Wheel

Just installed my new Grant steering wheel I got from Summit. Took only two days to get to my house. Also got a new horn button to match my interior.

I think it looks great. So easy to install, took me less than an hour from start to finish.

Re: New Steering Wheel

Nice steering wheel. Which one is that and how much did it cost? Did it come with the Chevy logo?

Re: New Steering Wheel

It is the Grant Challenger Series,

$54,95 from Summit

Steering wheel installation kit, $16.95 from Summit

My horn button was extra, I used 5640 but here is the whole listing for this particular wheel Under or around $15,

I got the same wheel in my truck, and the same horn button in my 'ro. I bought all my stuff from autozone though. I think my wheel was like $80

Re: New Steering Wheel

I've got one that isn't installed. However mine is in the flat black color. I can't stand chrome personally.

Nice wheels, guys.

An IROC-Z button would have been great. I purchased the "Camaro" button in silver to match my interior. A bad pic in my vBGarage (lower left below).

Re: New Steering Wheel

I've got the Grant 3 spoke polished aluminum wheel with the black leather wrap. I went with the polished bowtie horn button. Simple, & classy.

I did one in my first third gen some years ago. As I recall it took me about an hour at most to do it.

Re: New Steering Wheel

Will that adapter set work on a 91-92 air bag wheel? Because it said on that site application from 1967-1989.

Momo has adapters for that year ck it out at http://ltbautosports.com/steeringwheel.html

I installed a momo steering wheel in my 91 Z28 you have to shave off some of the plastic to make the adapter go all the way in and that's it
