Using the function goes a long way.

I found it on the first try.

Re: c6 interior swap

The C6 seats are very similar to the C5 seats and they don't fit right. I tries it. anyone who says he can fit them by bending the rails a bit and then bolting the rear on with some new holes drilled is a bubba. The rails will distort severely as the distance is too far off. if you have power seats they will wear out very quickly that way. The rear of the rails bolted down are an intrusion into the rear passenger foot area and the C5/6 seats don't have a headrest seat belt guide so the belt will sit awkward.

There is a HIGH probability that it was a complete scam post & the person never did ANYTHING, much less actually did it & it split apart on him.

With some cutting & welding of the seat tracks, the seats will fit. Any seats will fit, with enough work!

I read through that post a while back and well I remember that in order to get it to work it would be impossible (nothing is impossible but this was damn close) also the price of a complete c6 interior in decent shape would probably cost more than most 3rd gen cars out there now. But I still have not figured out why this clown would even post that he had completed it when it was so obvious he had not.

Re: c6 interior swap

ok heres a couple pics of the seats. i got em at a junkyard, so they have some wear. especially the driver seat of course . and i wanted black, or charcoal color because i just did a full interior swap 2 weeks ago. from ALL red, to ALL black now . and all the junkyard had was these grey ones. the only thing i still need is black rear seats, and black seat belts. i had to use the factory camaro seat tracks, so the corvette seat pans had to be slightly modified for it to bolt up and work.

Re: c6 interior swap

man they feel GREAT. seriously!! and i thought they looked a bit small...,well compared to the large camaro seats they do. it must be the pic quality or proportions look differant to you. but i also have the lumbars adjusted out too, if i adjust them in, they look slimmer.

Re: c6 interior swap

I really like the C4 seats, they hold you in place really well. Makes you wonder why the C5 and C6's have such crappy seats. Any idea what they weigh?
