You will have to hack on the white part of the cluster. I dont think any hacking has to be done on the black part.

I will post pictures of mine once I get it. Before, during install, and final pics.

I don't understand what you mean by hack on the white part of the cluster?

Is this just for the 91-92 large numbers or all the gauges.

I've been waiting for these things for a long time, and now is a crucial time for me to have one cause I'm going to be doing a T56 swap next weekend or possibly the following weekend. Was just looking for good gauge options and found this one when searching. I had contacted these guys back in April / May and then they were saying they would be getting them released around June, but that never happened.

Now I have to decide if I want to go with an electronic analog gauge and change all of my guages to make my own cluster, or if I want to go with something digital like these. These would definitely be the cheaper route, but can't decide if they would look as good as analog with white faces =p

Steven, I am unsure on the 86 model ones if any hacking has to be done, sorry. I am mostly getting feed on the 91/92 since thats what I need.

That being said, I dont know how the 82-90 cluster is made, so that may be where the "white part" confuses you.

I do know that you can hook this up to a t56 vss as I brought that up early on about modifications. I "think" the 82-90 is ready to ship? The guy I am talking to is out of office tell the 8th, so I cant get pics or any info tell then on the 82-90 design.

The 82-90 design is on ebay so I'm pretty sure it's ready to ship. But I think I've decided to go with a set of auto meter ultra lite gauges. I think analog gauges look better, and I've got an idea of how I'm going to mod my factory bezel / gauge housing to put them in there. I've just got to figure out a way to fit the oil pressure gauge in it, or decide if I want to mount it somewhere else (which I really don't like the idea of).

If I get rid of the dummy light area I can do it easy, but I was going to try and keep the dummy light area to keep it looking factory.

Well, actually in my 86 it's analog, but the speedo I'm looking at is electrical. I'm installing a T56 in my camaro as well so converting to electrical speedo anyway.

Even if I did have a 92 that was already electrical, the auto meter gauges can be calibrated for most senders.
