rear hatch not closing tight anymore
Noticed today that I can move my hatch today when its closed and locked, never been able to do this before today, it locks and I hear the motor pulling down and it cones back up after I pull the hatch up. And suggestions? This is making an annoying sound going over bumps and I don't want my hatch to start leaking.

The whole pull down assembly has a couple of big bolts that keep it in place. Loosen them, move the assembly down a small amount and re-tighten. Try the hatch. Keep doing it until it's right.

Long time no talk buddy!!! How've you been? I don't think the housing split but its possible I guess, i can year it pull down and it tighten up on the seal but like I said I can grab it and lift it like a quarter of an inch or more.

Re: rear hatch not closing tight anymore
Anyways, the best thing for you to do is to take the rear trim panel off and out of the way. Lay in the car as best you can while someone else shuts the hatch and then push up on it while looking at the lower part of the hatch motor mechanism. Either the motor housing will move or the latch won't be latching properly. If the motor housing doesn't move, then it may be an issue with the gear nut inside the housing if the latch itself isn't partially releasing. Both the motor housing and the gear nut are available from TDS (if either needs to be replaced, do both at the same time AND do the nylon guides as well as those will probably disintegrate when you take and separate the actual sliding latch from the body bracket...).
