Swivel Map Light
I have a 1990 RS with an overhead console. This might be a stupid question, but is there some sort of gasket that goes inside the map light, mine is loose and will only point straight down, If I try to direct it in any direction it falls and points straight down. If there is what size and where exactly would it be positioned. Hope someone can help.
Thanks

Re: Swivel Map Light
Yes there is a soft gasket that goes in between the ring and the swivel light. I could only find a picture of it on ebay. So here is the link, I hope it helps. http://www.ebay.com/itm/82-92-CAMARO-FIREBIRD-DELUXE-LARGE-OVERHEAD-CONSOLE-METAL-SWIVEL-LIGHT-LENS-NICE-/171196958151?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ACamaro&hash=item27dc2245c7&vxp=mtr

Yup, like Scorpner said it's a thick felt material. Could easily be remade with some folded over fabric or similar.

The gasket pictured goes on the ring to OH console. The one you need goes between the swivel & ring.

Re: Swivel Map Light
I made up one that goes between the swivel and the ring and it works much better now, I'll make the other next, thanks for the info.
