What’s a rough cost to reupholster all 4 seats in leather?
I’m looking to get all my seats reupholstered. Fronts are recaros. The local shop I’ve been working with quoted me $4,800 to use a design I came up with. They will be dark brown leather with a black leather middle stripe and will use black double stitching for accents. Does this price sound reasonable? I’ve never had any interior work done so I have no frame of reference on what this stuff costs. Below are some pics of the seat design (far right seat in first pic) and the materials. Appreciate any input.

I called the shop to discuss and I misinterpreted his quote. He showed two numbers so I added them together. Total is actually $3,400 and $1,400 of that is for all the materials.
@jimmylev these are factory front recaro seats. I’m having them redone in different color and pattern than how they came from the factory. I’m also going to remove the headrests. I don’t anticipate needing much foam work so price does not include that.
@punkmaster98 those turned out great! Was $1,400 just to redo the front seats or did that include the rears as well? If you redid the rears, was the backside done in cloth or carpet like the factory?

It cost me $1200 just to get leather covers from Lethal Interiors. The labor is the killer... Cost me $1400 to have the side pieces replaced on my other cloth seats... All labor to disassemble the covers...
The prices seem about right... I do my own cover replacement... It's not that hard... Just work slowly taking apart... Make notes and pics... Then reverse....

There's a company that called LSeat.com that does leather seat covers. If they don't have the pattern for your car they offer the option for you to send in your factory covers and they will use them as a pattern. They will only charge you 50% of the total cost. I've used them twice and each time I sent in my factory covers. One for my 76 Fleetwood and my 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2dr sedan

I second Lethal Interiors...You should actually send them your design and get a quote. I have some non-factory Recaros and she said could match the same design if I wanted for the factory rears. I told her I was fine with the standard 3rd Gen design on the rears. They turned out great!
