My local public library printed me some new tail light nuts and trim clips
My old tail light nuts and rear hatch trim clips literally crumbled in my hands as I removed them. For a grand total of $9, my local public library printed me 10 tail light nuts, 6 trim retainer clips, and 4 new plastic trim screws. They are made of ABS filament so should be able to withstand summer heat.

My local library system has two really nice 3D printers. They print the files at the central branch, then they deliver them the next day to my local satellite branch. All I pay is the cost of materials.

I actually looked already, mine are shattered too, but I could not find a cad file that somebody already created. I was thinking of designing one myself.

You'd be surprised what libraries are up to these days. Tool loans, 3d printing, e-books, tax help, health insurance help, all kinds of stuff. It's not just a room of books these days.

Re: My local public library printed me some new tail light nuts and trim clips
I just took the taillights out of a Buick Grand National and it had wingnuts that looked very similar to the ones in my 91/92 Firebirds and the GN ones had a foam rubber seal in a slight recessed area of the base of the wingnut. I haven't yet removed the taillights from my Firebird so I have no idea if they have a foam rubber seal or not.
I just figured how many different types of taillight wingnuts did GM use to hold taillights into 80s/90s GM cars. I got a bag of 10 for around $15.00
How easy did your 3D printed wingnuts self thread onto the mounting studs of the taillight?
