Corvette LT1 A/C question?

I recently switched from F body brackets to vette brackets and I need help finding a piece for my compressor. The part is a flange for mounting the hoses on top of the compressor. If anyone knows a part number or a salvage place that might have one please let me know. I can also provide part numbers for anyone wanting to swap their brackets over. I have a picture, but I can't get it to work.

The pic still doesn't want to work. If someone can tell me how to post this pic it would be a great help.

I'm not sure if any GM piece will work. I'm in the process of connecting my A/C hoses again, this time with a new hose block and custom a/c lines. This is the hose block I'm using, http://www.acsource.com/index.asp?Pa...ROD&ProdID=377

I don't even have the part of the compressor to fasten the block to. New compressors from the autopart stores don't come with it. I tried to post a pic to show everyone, but it didn't work.

The pic I sent you shows the top of the compressor. When you buy one from a parts store they assume you are replacing one and already have the top plate.

I understand now. Your best bet for that part is a salvage yard or the dealership. I *think* this is the right part number for that, 10219089, but I'm not positive because the photo wouldn't come up. working on resizing the photo right now.

Is the number you listed for the hoses or for the top plate? I know I will have to make custom hoses, but I don't even have anything to fasten them to. I may try to find a picture from one of J'sT/A posts so everyone else can see what I need. Where did you get that part number? The dealer told me I would have to buy a whole compressor. The yards around here don't have any vettes.

Like I said I'm not sure if that part number is correct or not, I got it by searching on GM Parts Direct, but the photo wouldn't come up so I couldn't verify it. Might be a place to start though. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I will take that number to a dealer and see what it is. I also have a friend that works at a parts store that might be able to cross-reference it. I really should have bought a corvette engine.

That number is the hose assembly. Thanks anyway. I have until summer to find one.

I have an extra compressor off a 94' Vette. I think I may have an extra hose that hooks to it too. I bought a new compressor for my car and tore the old one apart out of curiosity to see how it worked. I put it back together and it worked but I wouldn't trust it for my AC but sounds like you just need parts so let me know if interested.

I only need the top plate where the hoses fasten and maybe the bolts. I will have to fab up hoses, so I wouldn't need them. I am very interested in the compressor parts, if you could figure out a price let me know.
