I will let you know in about forever when I get mine in and running. I sometimes wish it was just nuts and bolts like it used to be. Couple of hours and a new engine was in and doing a test burn.

I was running 13.7's immediately after swapping in the stock LT1 with headers.

Changing my setup for this year and hopefully getting a proper tune.

Going with my rebuilt 4L60E with a Yank SS3600 and moving up to 3.73 gears and I will let you know when it gets warm out.

IMO the lt1 swap can yeild faster times $ for $. I spent $3500 and had alot of work done on it and its hella fast. I dont have anytimes yet because it still has a t5 but i imagine it runs pretty dang close to mid 12 or lower if it was to hook in 1 and 2.

Friends 88 GTA.

Stock Ls1 and 4l60E with 2800 stall and slicks.

Best so far is 12.6xxxx at 108ish.

Think we might have some more in it once we get all the rear suspension set up right.

later

For a LS1 (stockish) car you should expect something in the 12s. Most stock 4th gen LS1 cars run 12s

I ran low 9.35 in the 1/8th with a bone stock LT1//6-speed with 3.70 gears spinning through first and second to the point where I was completely out of the gas just to get it to hook. This was in 100% humidity and 90* outside on street tires. Had it hooked, and the weather wasn't as crappy as it was, low 8's easy.
