The life of my 87 LSX Iroc
It started life as a 305 tpi,700r4, 3.42 10 bolt. It now has a carbed 6.0 L out of a 01 gmc 2500 hd, 700r4, 4.10 strange 12 bolt, custom headers, and 100 shot. I bought the car, took it to the car wash, did a burn out it my drive way, pulled in the garage, took the hood off and started pulling the motor and trans.

Mocking up the motor mounts I made

Dont need knock sensors so I made a new valley cover

Finally got the damn headers finished

Ready to fire up

do you happen to have the tpi wiring harness and the computer? If so would you possibly sell?

Thanks guys, its a lot of hard work and money while your building it but its all worth it in the end.
Spike take plenty of pics, I wish I would have taken more especially while building my headers.
Doc I sold all that stuff way back in the beginning

Very nice/clean car!!!! Good work on the swap also. She's a runner thats for sure.
Im thinking about doing something very similar to my busted up 87. Ive been toying with the idea of fixing her up alittle, throwing on some black primer, and going with a carbed 6.0...or something along those lines.
Again...nice work!
